## Abstract Segments of jejunum and distal ileum of varying lengths and different vascular supply were isolated and interposed iso- and antiperistaltically. Pressures proximal to the interposed segment were recorded with a fine, soft, open-tipped cathether introduced via a Mann-Bollman fistula. The
