✦ Synopsis

The differential cross section and the pclarizafion in proton-proton scattering have been measured over the angular range 5°to 90 0 c.m. at 98 and 142 MeV. For angles greater than 37°c.m, the variation of the differential cross section can be expressed as 4.01 ±0.19(1-(0.02±O.045) cos 2 0) at 142 MeV and as 4.41±0.21 (1+ (0.02± 0.07)cos' 0) at 98 MeV, and the polarization cross section P(da/dco)/sin 20 can be expressed as (O.806±O.021) + (0.339 ±O.063) cos'O and as (O.54±O.05) -(O.04±O.12) cos' 0 at 142 and 98 MeV respectively.
