## Abstract ## Background Currently, early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy (DN) remains a major challenge. Thus, more investigations into new DN‐related biomarkers are needed. ## Methods We employed urinary proteomic approach of fluorescence‐based difference gel electrophoresis (DIGE) and mass
