## Polymer-protected Pt/Co bimetallic colloids with Pt/Co molar ratios of 3: 1 and 1: 1 have been prepared by the polyol process and characterized by TEM and XRD. Over the above Pt/Co bimetallic colloid catalyst (Pt/Co = 3: 11, cinnamaldehyde can be selectively hydrogenated to cinnamyl alcohol wit
