✦ Synopsis

Some samples (\left(\mathrm{Ag}{x} \mathrm{Cu}{y}\right) \mathrm{TI}: \mathrm{Te}) in the solid solution domain (\alpha) have been prepared and their electric conductivity and thermoelectric power measured. The results are discussed in light of previous studies on the phase AgTITe in order to precisely define the conditions and the limits of preparation of a high figure of merit (p) type thermoelectric compound.
