The Thermal Decomposition of Polyhalite K2SO4 -MgS04 -2 CaS04.2 HzO The thermal decomposition of polyhalite (K2SO4 . MgS04 . 2 CaS04 . 2 H20) was investigated by DSC/TG and X-ray powder diffraction. The decomposition of the polyhalite starts at 285 "C in releasing the crystal water within one step.
