✦ Synopsis

The results of research into superconducting properties under low temperature deformation (LTD) of Nb, Sn, Re, In, Pb are reported. It is concluded that the effect of increase of Te and He upon twinning is related to the formation of localized superconducting states.

## Abstract The origin of the plasticity in bulk nanocrystalline metals have, to date, been attributed to the grain‐boundary‐mediated process, stress‐induced grain coalescence, dislocation plasticity, and/or twinning. Here we report a different mechanism—detwinning, which operates at low temperatur

Thermodynamic measurements using single crystals of k-type organic superconductors have been performed under pressure and with magnetic field. We have adopted the ac temperature modulation technique for detecting relative variation of heat capacity as a function of temperature, since usual adiabatic
