Propellane. III. Verwendung des 1,1,2,2‐Tetrabrommethylcyclopropans zur Darstellung von (6.6.1)Propellanen — 3,6,10,13‐Tetrathia(4,5,11,12‐dibenzo)‐(6.6.1)propellan

Durch Reaktion des 1,1,2,2‐Tetrabrommethylcyclopropans mit 1,2‐Benzoldithiol wurde die tricyclische Verbindung 1 mit Propellan‐Struktur erhalten. Die Struktur dieser Verbindung wurde mit Hilfe spektroskopischer Daten und massenspektroskopischer Fragmentierung ermittelt. Für das Propellan 1 werden zwei Konformationen (mit koplanarer und nichtkoplanarer Lage der Benzolringe) bei einer „twist‐tub”︁ Konformation der achtgliedrigen Ringe vorgeschlagen.
