✦ Synopsis

The properties of polaritons propagating in multiple shell dielectric cylinders embedded in an optically inert medium are studied. The dispersion relation of surface modes is obtained, in order to investigate the effects of geometry on the propagation of polaritons modes. Numerical results are presented for cylinders made of semiconductor materials, such as GaAs and CdTe.
