Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) may be associated with serious hemorrhage. We describe 2 patients who received intravenous immunoglobulin given as a 24-hr continuous infusion with a concomitant continuous infusion of platelets. This regimen was rapidly effective in increasing platelet counts in both patients. Am.
