## Abstract __JC virus__ (JCV) causes progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy under conditions of immunosuppression, especially associated with HIV. Despite the high prevalence of HIV‐1 infection, few cases of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy have been reported and only a small number
