✦ Synopsis

symptom, due to pyloric obstruction, which may be intermittent as in this case. Under the influence of peristalsis the tumour may act as the apex of a gastroduodenal intussusception, which is sometimes very rugae except in the immediate vicinity of the tumour. There is little disturbance of peristalsis and no niche, incisura, or signs of spasm.
