β¦ Synopsis
THIS BOOK is an educational text designed to teach you programming from the
ground up. Already one of the most successful programming books
ever published, it has been revised and expanded at both the low
end and high end of the spectrum. The range of programming con-
cepts and techniques presented is such that it addresses the needs
of virtually every programmer interested in using the 6502 micropro-
cessor, from beginner to expert.
THE AUTHOR has taught programming and microprocessors to more than 5,000
persons worldwide. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from
U.C. Berkeley, developed a microprogrammed APL implementation,
and worked in Silicon Valley on industrial microprocessor systems at
the time they first appeared. This book, like others in the series, is
based on his technical and educational experience. He is the author
of several best-selling books on microcomputers, now translated, or being
translated in lO languages.
