Abstract

A. A partir de l'α‐ionone, 1'hydroxy‐3‐dihydro‐2,3 resp. 3,4‐ionone est préparée. Celle‐ci est oxydée par l'hypochlorite pour donner l'acide hydroxy‐3‐dihydro‐cyclocitrylidène‐acétique. Ce composé, chauffé à 150°, ne subit pas d'altération. En revanche, l'hydroxyacide saturé correspondant est, dans ces conditions, converti en lactone.
