✦ Synopsis

It is found that a pulsed electric discharge in a pulsed supersonic expansion is an efficient source of rotatioruiiy cold triplet me&tables and mdic&. The spectra of both triplet argon (3P 2.0) and carbon monoxide (a 3n) as well as C-Cl ndiuf (X 2R) were recorded with mass selective resomnr multiphoton ionization detection.
