AbstractรPorosity formation in spray deposition processes is investigated. The emphasis is on one possible mechanism of micro-pore formation during droplet spreading and solidiยฎcation: liquid-jet overยฏow. To this end, the NavierยฑStokes equations are solved numerically using ยฎnite dierences and the f
