โฆ Synopsis
This patent describes a piston ring that is claimed to provide reduced friction and wear. The design allows independent adjustment of the parameters controlling friction and wear to eliminate the trade off between low friction and low wear typical of prior art rings. The contact interface area between the ring and the bore surface is divided into a seal zone and bearing zones. Radial ports in the ring create the separate zones and ensure that the bearing zone is not subjected to pressure differential.

This invention relates to a process for producing a linear reinforcing insert, such as a U-section energiser and retainer, for a linear seal -in particular for sealing doors and windows on vehicle bodies. The insert has regularly recurrent cross-sectional variations in the longitudinal direction of
A sealing system for a vibratory screening machine is described. The machines may be used for either separating dry particles of different sizes or separating solids from a liquid. The seal is to overcome problems of screen wear and noise plus leakage of product. The frames of the screens are fitted
