Abstract

Near infrared (NIR) reflectance spectra recorded from poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) chips contain a sufficient amount of information to estimate the number of carboxylic end groups and the relative viscosity. To obtain reliable results, careful attention has to be paid to the calibration procedure.

## Abstract The present work describes the formation of co‐continuous phase morphologies in uncompatibilized and compatibilized poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET)–poly(__m__‐xylene adipamide) (MXD6) and PET– poly(ethylene‐__co__‐vinyl alcohol) (EVOH) melt‐extruded blends. Phase continuity has been
