Additions to membership since last report, 14. Mr. George H. Clamer, chairman "of the Committee on Science and the Arts, reported the condition of the committee's work.
A communication from the Alumni Association was read advising the Institute of the ejection of Mr. Edward V. McCaffrey to the Board of Managers as the representative of the Association for a period of three years, beginning January, 1916.

The communication of the evening, entitled " Some of the Lighting Features of the Hudson-Fulton Celebration," was presented by Mr. Arthur Williams, Chief Inspector of the New York Edison Company. The speaker made a brief reference to the objects of the
