โฆ Synopsis
Franklin Institute in relation to the Boyden Premium, have examined a competitive memoir from a person under the pseudonym of "Massis."
We find that the method suggested in this memoir might be made competent to determine the relative velocities of luminous rays in air, but is not competent to determine the relative velocities of any physical rays other than luminous rays, and, therefore, does not, in our judgment, comply with the terms of the Boyden requirement.
