The present proceedings include: (I) all the invited and contributed papers which, with a few exceptions, were actually read during the symposium; (II) those comments and dis- discussions which followed each of the presentations and which we thought would be of general interest and hence worth registering; and (III) a short summary of two post- symposium discussion meetings (PSDM) which were held on the 1st of September con- concerning the Aharonov-Bohm effect and neutron interferometry. All this has been sub- subjected to refereeing.
