✦ Synopsis
Danish. In the project, data on traffic accidents involving cyclists and moped riders are related to the geometric layout of the roads. The importance of bicycle tracks along main roads is highlighted. Furthermore, the accident rates associated with different layouts of minor road junctions and of signalized intersections are examined. One main result is that road layouts which are beneficial to cyclists are not necessarily beneficial to moped riders. CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS Accident Causation.
