Otherwise, publication was not ventured. May I not hope that after its twenty-five years of slumber, this fragment, seemingly yet pertinent, may not prove a cumberer to pharmaceutical literature?

ICCG-10: 10th International Conference on Crystal Growth, San Diego, USA, 16–21 st August 1992 held at the Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel and Conference Centre, was as sumptuous as any large crystal-growing conferences held in the USA. San Diego provided its proverbial climate (although inshore the desert suffered a heat-wave); the enormous marina immediately outside the hotel had to be seen to be believed (at least by a landlubbing Brit!); and the mix of Southern California and Mexican cultures managed to make relaxing seem quite business-like
