✦ Synopsis
Since 1970 43 total knee arthroplasties were performed and the results of 34: operations reviewed. The average follow-up period was 2.4 years with a minimum of 6 months. We used 2 McIntosh, 8 Sledge, 9 Shiers, 8 Guepar, 3 Geomedic, 4 GSB prosthesis. The clinical results were very good in 56.2%. The failure and the high rate of loosening of the Shiers-Joint are stressed.
