The Lewis acidity of H-Y and HZSM-5 zeolites has been studied using lSN n.m.r, of adsorbed N20. It follows from lSN n.m.r, data that in H-Y zeolites a variety of Lewis acidic sites having different strengths of acidity is present. The number of the strongest Lewis sites is about 20-30 i~mole/g, i.e.

The microwave spectra of N(2)-O(3) and N(2)-SO(2) have been recorded in the 6-18 GHz range using a pulsed-nozzle, Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. C-type transitions have been observed for both complexes which are slightly shifted by internal tunneling motions of the O(3) or SO(2) moieties.
## Abstract A convenient and efficient procedure is presented for the oneβpot synthesis of Nβsubstituted pyrroles by condensation of 2,5βhexandione and amines or diamines in the presence of crossβlinked polystyreneβsupported aluminum chloride (PS/AlCl~3~) as a highly active and reusable heterogeneo
## Abstract Rotational barriers and ^15^N chemical shifts have been measured in a number of ureas and thioureas. As anticipated on the basis of the ^15^N shifts, several previously unobserved rotational barriers could be detected by using lanthanide reagents or a high field spectrometer. Nearly con
We investigated the heterogeneous processes that contribute towards the formation of N 2 O in an environment that comes as closely as possible to exhaust conditions containing NO and SO 2 among other constituents. The simultaneous presence of NO, SO 2 , O 2 , and condensed phase water in the liquid
