Prime (UK) Ltd has announced an agreement with Systems Designers to jointly market Systems Designers' latest product, PRO III and to collaborate on future developments. PRO III is an integrated manufacturing planning system which will only run on Prime's entire range of 32-bit computers, from the 2250 to the 9955.
It comprises a set of modules which automate the planning of materials requirements, manufacturing batch releases and production schedules. It interfaces these processes with Prime's Medusa CAD software and other applications such as accounting and purchasing packages.
The agreement is the first of the recently launched Prime Solutions Circle. This is a support programme for UK software companies specializing in the development of applications packages.
