A case of primary malignant neurilemmal tumour of the liver, associated with neurofibromatosis, is presented. The terminology of such tumours is reviewed. It is concluded that this particular tumour was a malignant neurilemmoma (schwannoma), and the case represents a previously unrecorded association.
