In summary, we have presented a case of two episodes of hyponatraemia secondary to successive treatments with two atypical antipsychotics in a lady with paranoid schizophrenia. Our report indicates the need for serial monitoring of electrolyte pro®le with the introduction of atypical antipsychotics
