β¦ Synopsis
This study completes an investigation on four similar manganin-coil cells by supplying their metrological characteristics, particularly stability with time. Two of these transducers were extensively tested with different fluids in the -20 to 80Β°C temperature range; they showed noticeable Ro drift. Nevertheless, their metrological characteristics (calibration equation, repeatability, non linearity and hysteresis, temperature and pressure coefficients,...) remained within well acceptable limits. When used with some precautions and at the appropriate temperature, they can be employed as transfer standards in intercomparisons, with typical ---0.05% uncertainty. All the calibration data (R = f(T, P)) are compared with Czaputowicz's model.
