✦ Synopsis
Expressions have been developed for pressure gradient and liquid film thickness in upwards annular co-current flow of gas and liquid in the absence of disturbance waves and droplet entrainment. Experimental measurements of pressure gradient have been made with various phase flow rates, tube diameters and physical properties of the liquid. The results have been correlated in terms of the equivalent sand-roughness of the liquid film.
