✦ Synopsis
We have investigated the magnetic susceptibility at atmospheric pressure for the (Y1-xPrx)2Ba4Cu7015.6 system with x=0.1-0.6 and that at high pressure for the sample with x=0.6. The effective moment per Pr ion obtained by the Curie-Weiss fitting is an intermediate value between that expected for Pr 3+ and that for Pr 4+. It was found that the magnetic state of Pr ion is scarcely affected by pressure.
