✦ Synopsis

Pressure-type point contacts between the antiferromagnetically ordering CeCu2Ge 2 (TN = 4.2 K) and simple metals have been investigated. We found a reduced N6el temperature ( < 3.5 K) at the contact. A number of contacts showed superconducting anomalies (excess current) below 0.7 K and with critical magnetic fields around 2 T. Both, the reduced T N and the appearance of superconducting anomalies result from the high pressure at the contact.

The differential microcontact resistance between monocrystalline CeCthGe 2 and simple metals as well as the thermal expansion of CeCthGe 2 has been investigated. We observed spectra with smooth maxima around +/-3mV, indicating the destruction of AF magnetic order in CeCthG % and spectra with additio
