Systematic study on the magnetic properties has been performed for the Cr-doped Pr 0.5 Ca 0.5 Mn 1Àx Cr x O 3 (x ¼ 0, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05, 0.07 and 0.10) system. For the samples with x ¼ 0.01 and 0.10, spin glass behavior is observed, which is resulted from different magnetic ground states. The present
