โœฆ Synopsis

The superconducting transition temperatures have been measured for the tetragonal I phase of Nao.23 W03, the hexagonal phase of Ko.33 W03, and the hexagonal phase of Rbo.a3 WO3for pressures up to 20,000 bar. The slope of the curves is +1.7 โ€ข 10 -5 K/bar for the sodium bronze, -5.8 x 10 -s K/bar for the potassium bronze, and -1.5 x 10-5 K/barjbr the rubidium bronze. A sharp change in slope of the transition temperature vs. pressure curve for the potassium bronze at 4000 bar may indicate a phase change.
