✦ Synopsis
Preliminary results in this study show that it is possible to achieve a good Ultem 1000/carbon ®bres covering by means of electrophoretical deposition. The expected amount of deposited polymer is well controlled and the deposited ®lms have a good appearance. In this way a variety of carbon ®bre composite materials can be manufactured.
