โœฆ Synopsis

Three kinds of hydrated potassium bronze, K 0.23 (H 2 O) 0.65 MoO 3.00 (HyK-AD), K 0.23 (H 2 O) 0.43 MoO 3.00 (HyK-H2), and K 0.23 (H 2 O) 0.27 MoO 3.00 (HyK-H1), were obtained from hydrated sodium bronzes by cation exchange. Hydrated potassium bronzes dried under vacuum are of two types. The first, HyK-H2, belongs to the six-coordination type and the second, HyK-H1, belongs to the eight-coordination type. When hydrated bronzes were heated in nitrogen, they turned into a mixture of the blue potassium bronze, K 0.3 MoO 3 , and MoO 3 . In contrast, those heated in air decomposed to K

We succeeded in synthesizing the hydrogen coinserted hydrated potassium molybdenum bronzes (HKBz) with the 8-and 6-coordination structures by a direct new reduction method. By this method, the 8-coordination type was obtained. According to NMR results, the behavior of protons in the 8-coordination t
