## Abstract Biphenyl‐2,2β€²,3,3β€²,5,5β€²,6,6′‐^2^H~8~ was prepared from biphenyl‐d~10~. Initial bromination of biphenyl‐d~10~ followed by hydrogenolysis of the 4,4′‐dibromobiphenyl‐d~8~ with lithium aluminum hydride gave the desired product in 40% overall yield.
