## Abstract The preparation and magnetism of two supramolecular polymeric complexes, DABT/PAAβNi^2+^ and DABT/PAAβCu^2+^, which were obtained via electrostatic interactions of 2,2β²βdiaminoβ4,4β²βbithiazole (DABT), poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), and transition metal ions (Cu^2+^ or Ni^2+^) were described.
