YBa, Cu~Oy (YBCO) thin films were in-situ prepared on MgO(001) substrates with vicinal angles toward [100]Mg'O.'[001]YBCO tilted from substrate surface normal only toward [001]MgO. With increasing the vicinal angles, the angle between [001]YBCO and [001]MgO and the rocking curve width were increased
