## Abstract A novel biodegradable aliphatic polycarbonate, poly(propylene carbonate maleate) (PPCMA) was synthesized by terpolymerization of carbon dioxide, propylene oxide, and maleic anhydride (MA), using a polymer supported bimetallic complex as catalyst. The utility of PPCMA to encapsulate and
