## Abstract This paper discusses the electrochemical behavior and corrosivity of aqueous sulfidic solutions with reference to iron and carbon steel. The chemistry of aqueous sulfidic solutions is reviewed with particular emphasis on stability of various sulfur species in aqueous solutions as a func
