β¦ Synopsis
A technique for preparing flexible composites by dispemsing high-T c bismuth-based superconductor filler in an ABS rubber matrix with transition temperature above 100K (based on magnetization meastucenents) has been developed. Superconducting tapes or discs of the Bil.SPb0.5Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox/ABS composites with flexibility was formed by wet or dry blending. Data obtained from dc resistivity and magnetization measurements on the composites and the features of micrcstructure are presented.

## Abstract **Summary:** An organicβinorganic hybrid material consisting of a 3β(methacryloxy)propyl functionalized SiO~2~/MgO framework was synthesized. This hybrid was successfully reacted with styrene, butyl acrylate and butyl methacrylate via a free radical emulsion polymerization to form polym
Copper sulfide-polymer composite was prepared by depositing copper into porous polyolefine film with a method of electroless plating and sulfurizing the copper. The composite was an n-type semiconductor and useful as a component of p-n junction device and as a gas detector. The method was also usefu
High-T, superconducting Bi,Sr,Ca,Cu,O, phase (2223) was produced by a solid state reaction method. Its orthorhombic cell parameters were determined by X-ray diffraction. A series of superconductor/polymer composites was made using 2223 phase and low density polyethylene (LDPE). Complex impedance mea
