Abstract

Two series of trialkyltin carboxylates containing butyl and cyclohexyl groups on tin, Bu~n~Cy~3‐n~SnO~2~CR (n = 1, 2; R = n‐Pr, Ph, 4‐CIC~6~H~4~, 4‐NO~2~C~6~H~4~) have been synthesized and their structures characterized by IR, and ^119^Sn and ^13^C NMR spectroscopies. The compounds are five‐coordinate, carboxylate‐bridged polymers when R = n‐Pr, while the other aromatic carboxylates are four coordinate. The compounds were also tested for their fungicidal, insecticidal and acaricidal activities.
