โœฆ Synopsis

In this study, samples with positive CIC in the acute phase were all obtained more than 10 days after the onset of the disease. Samples obtained before this point were all negative. Three patients with positive CIC in the remission phase had clinical features resembling others and complicated coronary heart disease was not present. However, high levels of CIC and disease activity were parallel, relatively.

Characterization of the antigens in the CIC and investigation of the reticuloendothelial system in handling the CIC may clarify the Kawasaki disease further.
