โœฆ Synopsis

Combination

of the high resolving power of capillary columns and the extreme sensitivity of electron capture detection gives a powerful tool for the analysis of neurotransmittors.

The preparation of glass capillary columns suitable for analyses at the sub-nanogram level is discussed. Several methods of derivative formation are compared.

Model compounds, each containing one functional group, were used to evaluate procedures and some results obtained with biologically active compounds are presented.
