✦ Synopsis

A nasal breath sampling device was developed for use with dairy cattle . This device was tested as a means of supplying breath for analysis by a gas sensor array , gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer , and Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer . Concentrations of methane , dimethyl sulphide , butan-2one , and propanone (acetone) in cow nasal breath , under field conditions , are reported for the first time , and were detected at 70 -1000 p . p . m ., 80 -100 p . p . m ., 70 -80 p . p . m ., and 1 -10 p . p . m ., respectively . Although Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is often associated with sleep disordered breathing (SDB), it is not standard clinical practice to routinely test this population for SDB, and the optimal timing and methodology for such testing has not been established. Our objectives were: 1) to examine t

## Abstract ## Objectives Physical symptoms are known to be associated with late life depression both cross‐sectionally and over time. We attempted to determine if self‐reported shortness of breath (SoB) is associated with depressive symptoms at long‐term (3‐year) follow‐up in a community sample o

Recent works in the vibration-based structural health monitoring community have emphasised the use of correlation dimension as a discriminating statistic in seperating a damaged from undamaged response. This paper explores the utility of attractor dimension as a 'feature' and offers some comparisons

## Abstract Preference for six olfactory stimuli was assessed via paired preference assessments with three adults with autism. Using a combination multielement and reversal design, a reinforcer assessment was then conducted to determine the extent to which three (high preference, medium preference,

## Abstract ## Background and Objective Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has been used in limited settings to study peripheral nerve injury. The purpose of the study is to determine whether high‐resolution OCT can be used to monitor nerve injury and regeneration in the rat sciatic nerve followin
