✦ Synopsis
A procedure for the quantitative determ~natlon of C3S , ~-C2S , and perlclase in portland cement and clinker by x-ray diffraction is described.
This procedure utilizes CeO 2 as the internal standard and is based on peak height ratios of analyte to internal standard. Data from the comparison of CeO 2 and Si as internal standards are also presented.
