✦ Synopsis
findings were independent of age, sex, and cromoglycate therapy. Eighty-five percent of patients were more responsive to metacholine challenge when receiving regular bronchodilators. It was concluded that intermittent bronchodilator therapy provided better control for moderate asthma than scheduled therapy.
