β¦ Synopsis
After the three very successful international Two-Dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy (2DCOS) symposia held in Kobe-Sanda, Nottingham, and Delavan, and the nicely organized 1st Asian 2DCOS symposium in Kyungju, the 2DCOS people gathered in Beijing to present their most recent achievements and to exchange ideas. About 80 participants from 10 countries and regions attended the symposium.
During the last 2 years, great achievements have been made in the 2DCOS research field. This issue covers all aspects of Two-Dimensional Correlation Spectroscopy, ranging from theory to applications. Not only vibrational spectroscopy, but also many other spectroscopic techniques concerning the applications of two-dimensional correlation analysis have been discussed. Special attention is paid to the following topics:
-Theoretical analysis, such as moving window correlation, using physical nature and waveform as the external perturbation, and bridging different spectral data.
