✦ Synopsis

Suppose that a collimated beam of light traveling along the axis of the eye deposits energy, and that the rate at which energy is deposited by the beam is known at every point of the eye. The thermal response in the chorloretmal region of the eye is predicted by convolvmg this rate of deposmon per unit volume with the fundamental solution of the associated heat operator.
